At our heart we’re a disruptor. This is reflected in almost all areas of our team, processes, and culture. We are changing the way an industry thinks, which requires a careful balance between empathy and innovation.

How we work

We have a very high bar for hiring, with a focus on our values, diversity, and of course excellence. Having such an amazing team enables us to be very informal, and transparent, in our decision making. We default to openness, debate, followed by quick decision making.

We work in small, cross-functional teams. Engineers work closely with product managers and customers, internal and external, to figure out ‘why’ we should build things before we actually build them. We value small increments, rapid iteration and continuous delivery.

We get it…company values too often sound generic…but we thought really hard about ours and would happily have them tattooed on our arms.

💪🏾 Be bold. We’re outsiders that compete with the leaders in the industry…and we’re still young. We follow hunches, instincts and dreams. Every great discovery starts with a crazy idea.

📈 Follow the data. We were born out of science and data and that will always remain the core thread of the company. Our dream of disrupting an industry has become reality by applying ourselves and our resources in a data-driven way.

🤝  Team first. We’re a group that respects each other and, more importantly, like each other’s company. Humanity is celebrated and work-life balance is appropriately excellent. We’ll only succeed if we trust each other 100% and work together in pursuing our goals.

Life at FLYR Hospitality

We’ve always focused on being remote-first with a base in London. Nonetheless, nothing beats some real human interaction so every three months we organise a company-wide offsite - whether it’s workshops and surfing in Lisbon or skiing and brainstorming in Chamonix. Hopefully you get the gist…

Whether it’s our team in London, Spain or Prague we’re always doing stuff together on a regular basis - an after-work bouldering session, a lunch-time run or a few beers.

Within teams, we’re constantly running company-wide meet-ups and each team has a budget to organise team internal meet-ups & trips. Individually, each team member has a budget to optimise their work environment. This can be allocated to upgrading your at-home workspace or by renting access to a co-working space, your call!
